The Boxer Superstores was formerly known as The Kwazulu Cash & Carry Company, which commenced operations in 1977. The intention then was to be a wholesale enterprise but as time went on, major restructuring took place and it was modified to become a fully functional retail store. The name Boxer Superstores came to stay in 1997 after a number of re-branding and name changes through the years.
The company has continued to grow and this growth has been championed by the need to attend to customers’ varying needs. The company now has other sub-departments like the Boxer Build, Boxer Punch, Boxer Liquor, and Boxer Super Meats. Their prices have stayed affordable through the years and their tagline is, ‘Never Pay More Than the Boxer Price.’
