Boxer Superstores Vereenigingis a budget retailer that was initially set up as a wholesaler in Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa called KwaZulu Cash & Carry. 20 years later, the name Boxer Superstores was born when the company took on a new corporate identity to better reflect its role as an end-to-end retailer targeting both bulk and retail clients. Three outlets in the Transkei were added to the growing number of Boxer Superstores shops when the firm merged with one of its parent companies, in 1997. Going from strength to strength, in 2017, Africa’s Favourite Discount Supermarket celebrated 40 years of service. With 250 shops now in operation, customers can find great offers and quality products in a wide range of locations.
